PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Celebrations and
Generations
1) Name of Project:
Celebrations and Generations (Ex-National Drinks and Related Traditions)
2) Brief one-sentence description of project: Students research, find
and send information about celebrations and to participation in it
representatives different generations in country or region.
3) Full description of project:
When we worked on iEARN-Project
"National Drinks and Related Traditions", we found very interesting traditions
from different countries. People around the world enjoy preparing and taking
part in different kinds of celebrations. The history of celebrations is really
interesting and amazing, but role of it is different for different generation
(for example: New Year, Christmas, Mothers Day, Birthday, etc.). Every
Celebration (has the very unique path from its birth till nowadays. Students
can compare information about one celebration in different countries and one
celebration for different generation.
In this collaborative project
students will explore and work on following issues - Name and date of
Celebration popular in the country, region or town - history of this
celebration, who and how take part in it, what this celebration mean for
students, for his/her parents and grandparents.

literature, web-sites, reading and writing texts, taking interview and photo
