1.Name of Project: TREE NEAR US

2.Brief one-sentence description of project:
STUDENTS WILL RESEARCH, FIND AND DESCRIBE TREES IN LOCAL COMMUNITY.
STUDENTS CAN DRAW, MAKE PHOTO, WRITE ESSAY AND TALES ABOUT THIS TREE, MAKE POSTERS BY GROUPS OF STUDENTS.

3.Full description of project:

WITHOUT TREES OUR PLANET WILL BE PLANET WITHOUT LIFE. TREES PLAY BIG ROLE IN OUR LIFE. SOME PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW IMPORTANT ARE THEY FOR HUMAN.
THERE ARE A LOT OF TREES AROUND US, WE USE TREES IN OUR LIFE, BUT WE DON’T THINK ABOUT THEM. HOW TREES STARTING LIFE, HOW THEY LIVE AND HOW THEY SUPPORT NEXT GENERATION. ONLY SMALL NUMBER OF PEOPLE PLAN TREES. AS USUAL PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW BIG IS A ROLE OF TREES IN OUR LIFE. SOME THREES ARE UNIQUE BY HISTORICAL/CULTURAL VALUE, SOME O THEM HAVE UNIQUE INGREDIENTS FOR BUILDING, FOR MEDICINE ETC.
WHEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TREES, SOMEONE THINKS ABOUT AMAZON FORESTS, OTHER ABOUT GARDEN WITH DELICIOUS FRUIT IN IT, SOMEONE VALUES TREE AS A BUILDING MATERIAL, FOR OTHERS IT IS EXAMPLE TO SHOW LINK OF GENERATIONS.
THERE ARE TREES WHICH FLOURISH VERY EASILY, OTHERS GIVE HARVEST LATER. SOME ARE 300 YEARS OLD, SOME ARE DWARF TREE, OTHER ARE TOO BIG.
TREE LIVES SO NEAR TO US.

STUDENTS WILL RESEARCH, FIND AND DESCRIBE TREES IN LOCAL COMMUNITY.
STUDENTS CAN DRAW, MAKE PHOTO, WRITE ESSAY AND TALES ABOUT THIS TREE, MAKE POSTERS BY GROUPS OF STUDENTS.

students can use questions:
• Do you know what is the role of trees in your community?
• How people use trees in your local level?
• Do you have some unique trees in your community or country?
• What problems will be without trees in your community?
• How students can save trees?
• What you can do for save trees?
• Who and when plant this tree?
• Is it some tales about some tree in your community/country?
• How you use tree?
• how tree can help us?

6) Possible project / classroom activities:
• students can research
• make interview
• Students can take photos,
• Make and publish web page;
• Publish Booklet or newsletter about local trees;
• Preparation and show Presentation in local level for teachers, parents, students, NGO, Governments and business representatives.
• All electronic materials is possible to send to Coordinator
• It will publish web page about trees on the Earth.

Exhibition, booklet, newsletter, web-page
in school level and in international level
